Position: Wellbeing Advisor
Contract Type: 18.75 hours per week 
Salary: Up to £27,724 per annum pro rata

Are you passionate about supporting others on their journey to mental and physical wellbeing? Do you have a keen interest in helping individuals live healthier, happier lives? The Beacons are looking for a dedicated Wellbeing Advisor to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve wellbeing services to residents, providing a range of wellbeing, health and fitness services that meet individual needs.           

Offer expert guidance on mental health, nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

Conduct wellbeing assessments and develop personalised plans to support client needs.

Lead workshops, group sessions, and wellbeing events to promote healthy living within the community.

Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to management on client progress.

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a health & wellbeing or social care environment including facilitating activities.

Experience of working with older people is desirable.

Delivery of exercise classes and workshops is desirable

Relevant qualifications in health, wellbeing, or a related field (e.g.,OCR Level 2 Certificate in teaching exercise and fitness, REPS 3 instructor etc).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.
