Are you a compliance expert in building safety with a passion for service excellence and safety assurance? Do you thrive on managing high-impact contracts and building effective contractor relationships? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for an experienced Asset Compliance Contracts Manager to take the lead on heating compliance across our national property portfolio. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our residents’ safety, delivering robust contract management and providing technical expertise on servicing, maintenance, and investment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading heating compliance activities across servicing, maintenance, and planned works
- Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for heating systems and commercial catering equipment
- Managing key service contracts, ensuring high-quality performance from multiple contractors
- Reporting to senior leadership and contributing to strategic asset investment decisions
- Ensuring Anchor remains legally compliant, mitigating risks and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting procurement and delivering robust contract specifications
- Monitoring budgets, audits, performance reviews and life safety systems
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in property compliance, health & safety, and heating systems
- Strong background in contract management – ideally NEC4/JCT
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- A sound understanding of legislative frameworks (e.g., H&S at Work Act, Gas Safety, CDM Regs)
- Relevant qualifications such as Gas Safe/CORGI, HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, NEBOSH/IOSH, and ideally a housing qualification (CIH Level 4 or above)
This role is home-based with regular national travel and occasional overnight stays.
