Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm or 9 am - 5 pm  (Negotiable)

We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and proactive Administrator to join our dedicated team in a dementia care home. This pivotal role ensures the smooth running of administrative operations, supporting both staff and residents in a warm, respectful, and person-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate resident records, care plans, and staff documentation
  • Assist with invoicing, petty cash, and budget tracking
  • Support payroll processing and timesheet management
  • Serve as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and professionals
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and training sessions
  • Ensure timely communication between departments and external agencies
  • Uphold GDPR and safeguarding standards in all documentation
  • Support audits and inspections by maintaining up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a care home environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, care management systems)
  • Understanding of dementia and person-centered care (desirable)
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and care sector regulations (advantageous)
