We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to become an integral part of our team at Wetherby Manor, a luxurious care home with a 17-bed Nursing wing committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents.
We currently have two positions available, one for day shifts and another for night shifts, both offering 42 hours per week. The working schedule follows a 2-week rolling rota, with 4 days/nights in the first week and 3 days/nights in the second.
This is an hourly paid position at £23.50 per hour. Any overtime will be compensated at the same rate
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care based on thorough assessments of residents' needs.
Collaborate with the care team to meet personal, emotional, spiritual, and social care requirements.
Manage medication and clinical equipment in adherence to company policies.
Coordinate with residents' GPs and other healthcare professionals.
Develop comprehensive care plans in consultation with residents and their families.
Provide supervision to junior staff members and assess the effectiveness of care delivered.
Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in resident care.
Uphold the rights, choices, dignity, and equality of each resident, employing a person-centered approach.
Requirements:
Hold a first-level nurse qualification with an up-to-date PIN.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a role involving the care of the elderly.
Supervisory experience is desirable.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrate empathy towards residents along with effective leadership skills.
Flexibility regarding working hours.
