Hours:

  • Option 1: 1 x Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Option 2: 2 x Part-time (20 hours per week)

The Role

As a Housekeeper at Marsh Farm Manor, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and homely environment for our residents. Reporting to the Location Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care and comfort.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
  • Supporting with day-to-day upkeep of rooms and communal areas, ensuring everything feels welcoming and comfortable.
  • Carrying out minor maintenance and repairs where needed, and knowing when specialist skills are required.
  • Ensuring equipment is used safely and health & safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Contributing to a positive and homely atmosphere that residents are proud to call home.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or maintenance is desirable.
  • A range of practical skills (e.g. cleaning, minor repairs, gardening would be a bonus).
  • A strong awareness of health & safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
  • Someone who is well organised, with excellent planning skills.
  • A friendly personality with great interpersonal and empathy skills.
  • A true team player who can also work independently.
  • Most importantly – someone who is customer-focused and passionate about making a difference.
