Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with daily living activities (personal care, meals, mobility)
  • Building meaningful relationships through conversation and shared activities
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing
  • Working closely with families and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate care records and following care plans

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Are patient, empathetic, and a great listener
  • Have a genuine interest in dementia care
  • Can work well in a team and take initiative
  • Are reliable and have a positive attitude

Please note all applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role. 

St Edith’s Court in Leigh On Sea is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 39 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver. 

  • Located a short 6 minute walk from Chalkwell Station which is on the C2C railway line
  • Working with a friendly welcoming Team, some of whom have worked at St Edith’s many years
