Deputy Manager

37.5 hours per week

9 am - 4.30 pm, Monday - Friday, weekend work if needed

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the care home. You’ll lead by example, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and driven individual ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management of the care home
• Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
• Support with recruitment, training, and development of staff
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
• Monitor care plans and ensure person-centred care is delivered
• Step in as acting manager when required

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a care setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care
• Knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
• Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
