Devonshire House in Sudbury are seeking a reliable and compassionate Housekeeper to join their care home team. As a key member of support staff, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff facilities to a high standard
- Follow infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
- Respect residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal space at all times
- Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth-running home
About You:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)
- Understanding of infection control and COSHH regulations
- Friendly, approachable, and committed to high standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Devonshire House in Sudbury is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 68 residents.
