Job Title: Residential Estate Manager
Rate of Pay: £9.48 per hour (accommodation included)

Hours: 21 hours per week
Please note that the requirement of this role is to live within the building in a 2 property there are no rental costs however individual Estate Managers are responsible for their bills
We are currently recruiting for a Residential Estate Manager to Manage our property at Queen Mews Deal. The site consists of resident’s lounge area with kitchen, manager’s office, communal gardens and 31 apartments. You will oversee the general management of the building including repairs and maintenance, be responsible for site safety, manage the local budget and monitor our contractors to ensure they are delivering services in-line with the required specification.
You will be the first point of contact for leaseholders and will deal with a range of enquiries including responsibilities under the lease, complaints, property enquiries and service charges.
The role is an exciting and dynamic one with a wide range of responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in all areas and creating vibrant communities where residents love living in later life. The position is a lone working role supported by an Area Manager and Central Support Teams.
You’ll have great people skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and empathy. As well as being a people person, you’ll also be business minded and always be on the lookout for opportunities to improve and enhance Anchor Hanover’s services for our residents. We offer full training in all aspects of estate and leasehold management and are passionate about developing the skills of our people.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, contractors and third parties.
- A passion for developing services and communities
- A general knowledge of leasehold property would be beneficial but not essential
- A basic understanding of general maintenance and repairs
