Join us as a Maintenance Operative, reporting into the Estates Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out day to day minor maintenance and repairs, to a high standard, contributing to a happy and comfortable environment for customers.
Differentiating between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required.
Ensuring equipment is used safely, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.
Well organized and able to plan workload.
Strong interpersonal and empathy skills and a friendly personality.
Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to undertake a wide range of activities.
Customer focused at all time.
Diagnosis skills in analysing building / building services defects.
Ability to prioritise tasks and able to demonstrate the capacity to meet deadlines
Required knowledge & experience:
You will hold a minimum ONC in Building, Electrical or M&E, with a working knowledge of other disciplines.
Have knowledge of all legislation applied to building maintenance including;
Health & Safety at Work Act
CDM and British and European Standards
Experience with maintenance planning and administration, adhering to safety regulations and assessing risks.
