About the role
Working across some of our retirement housing schemes you will be good at engaging with people from all backgrounds who live with us as well as many different statutory and voluntary organisations that will be coming in to offer health and wellbeing services and activities to our customers.
- Helping residents to live independently and visiting them to assess and meet their support needs
- Promoting social activities on the estate and in the wider community
- Working closely with the statutory and voluntary sectors to provide a seamless service and liaise with residents’ relatives
We are looking for people who are energetic, flexible and passionate about wellbeing services to older people. You will be able to think beyond what you see and hear to help people access services that could help them. You will want to make a difference.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We believe they should be able to choose how they live in later life. This means listening carefully so we can shape our homes and services around their changing needs and concerns.
Anchor is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are proud to have an LGBT+ resident group, and also BAME, LGBT+ and Disabled colleague networks. These work closely with the organisation to celebrate diversity, address concerns, review policy and practice and empower their members. We recruit, train and promote without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, colour, sex or gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or other protected status. One of our values is ‘respect’, therefore we do not accept harassment or discrimination from any colleague, resident or third party.
