Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Home based with frequent travel

About the role
Anchor are looking for an experienced PQE Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Property Team where you will be responsible for managing a range of JCT/NEC Contracts.
Working with the Property Delivery Team, you will develop and provide an effective framework for commercial and contract management arrangements and be responsible for cost saving through collaboration with contractors.
You will manage financial and/or contract performance while ensuring robust financial forecasting, ensuring that all financial systems are updated.
Working with Finance colleagues you will also ensure effective payment and financial forecast mechanisms are in place.
Frequent interaction with the Property & Assets Senior Leadership Team, as well as other colleagues across the organisation, to support continuous improvement in contract management, commercial management and financial planning.
The role involves line management of a small team.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
PQE Quantity Surveying Experience
MRICS status
Recent experience in commercial and contract management of NEC and/or JCT contracts on housing repairs, planned investment or M&E works
Proven commercial experience working within social housing maintenance and planned investment sector, Contractor side and/or Client side
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Ability to hold constructively challenging conversations, maintaining professional relationships
