Job Title: Home Ownership Development Manager
Hours: Full time, permanent
Location: Home based with regular travel across the country
Salary: Circa £43,000
About the role
Reporting into the Head of Home Ownership Support, we are looking to recruit a confident and resilient individual to support the development of the mixed tenure offer for Anchor.
You will oversee the operational management of multiple new sites from development phase into business as usual. You will work with the Head of Home Ownership Support to ensure the offer meets the needs of older people in shared ownership and rented accommodation and that successful mixed communities are created.
You will:
- Be a key stakeholder in the project team for the mixed tenure
- Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Produce resident legal agreements suitable for mixed tenure in conjunction with legal advisers and other internal stakeholders
- Produce service charge models suitable for mixed tenure sites which include a well-being offer
- Be accountable for the smooth transition between mixed tenure sites in development into business as usual.
- Support the development of operational guidance for the management of mixed tenure sites
- Work closely with the Development, sales, and operational teams to ensure the success of the projects
- Be accountable for tailoring legal agreements for each site to ensure the service offering and costs are clear and transparent to residents and full recovery of appropriate charges can be made via the service charge
- Be responsible for preparing new sites for transition into operational management including supporting the setup of contracts for services and recruitment of staff for each site
About you
You will have:
- Experience in managing shared ownership and mixed tenure sites
- Experience in setting up service charges for mixed tenure sites and service charge modelling
- Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including negotiation skills
- Experience in supporting the creation of leases and tenancy agreements for new sites including Affordable Rent agreements
- Experience in setting up operational contracts for the management of new sites
- Proven ability in producing operational guidance and procedures for a large organisation
You will be educated to A level, have a relevant qualification or relevant experience such as IRPM.
**Please note, a current full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes is required. Alternatively, the post-holder must demonstrate to management satisfaction that they are able to travel around the country in a reasonable timeframe using another mode of transport**
