Position: Care Home Administrator Location: Wetherby Manor, a luxury residential care and nursing home Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £24,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Care Home Administrator to join our team at Wetherby Manor. You will be responsible for managing the Home's records, monitoring payroll, and overseeing all income collection. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing excellent customer service and support.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain effective administration and financial systems to meet location,
- Ensure admin processes and documentation are in place and provide accurate information as required
- Manage transactions in line with financial procedures and maintain reporting systems in the absence of the manager
- Ensure compliance with CQC essential standards and Anchor procedures
Required qualifications and experience:
- Level 2 Business Administration or Customer service level 2
- Previous experience working in an office environment
- Understanding of financial procedures, debt management, income collection, payroll processes, and budget management
- Experience managing customers' personal monies and understanding of confidentiality and data protection within a care setting
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- customer, and external requirements
Required skills:
- Proficient in a variety of IT packages
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to produce and present numerical data accurately with attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
