Job Title: Internal Communications Officer
Salary: £33,231
Location: Bradford office/ hybrid
Hours: Full time
Contract: 12 months fixed term
About the role
We are looking for an organised and independent individual to manage specific internal and resident communication projects and campaigns as directed by the Senior Internal Communications Manager, including channels and approach.
Working with the Internal Communications colleagues and colleagues in Central Support and Operations you will manage internal communications campaigns and projects which support the delivery of our Business Plan objectives and priorities.
You will support the Senior Internal Communications Manager in using communication to engage colleagues in our Care, Housing, and support functions.
You will report on the effectiveness of campaigns and channels to support continuous improvement in internal communication.
The role will largely manage strategies and plans developed by the Senior Internal Communications Manager.
The post-holder will be expected to engage with relevant colleagues in operations functions (Care Services and Housing Services) to develop communication plans and tactics.
You will also be expected to manage your own day-to-day workload and show creativity and resourcefulness in order to maximise your impact
About you
You will:
- Have experience of internal or stakeholder communications in a customer-facing business, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Have strong copy-writing skills and experience of producing communication for digital and print media, such as intranet and videos.
- You will have experience of using the Microsoft Office package as well as experience of using video editing and desktop publishing software
- Understand internal communications and engagement principles and the ability to translate theory into practice which drives business performance
- Have awareness of the latest comms and engagement trends
- Be able to manipulate, interpret and present data reports
- Have an awareness of project management methodologies.
- Be a strong team player who can work with colleagues from across the organisation
- Act as a role model for Anchor’s values
- Support the development of a climate where diversity is valued and celebrated.
- Have a strong commitment to, and understanding of, confidentiality
- Have the ability to engage and influence both colleagues and customers
- Understand how to act commercially within a not-for-profit business
