We are diverse team of over 100 colleagues delivering resident focused property solutions. We operate through a team of 50 surveyors each with a defined group of locations. Each surveyor is responsible for between 30 and 40 locations.
This is an exciting time to join us as we conclude procurement of 15-year, £1.7bn contracts. The 8 new contracts will provide a transformational approach to how we deliver services to our residents and realise efficiencies for Anchor. To equip Anchor with the skills and capacity to realise the benefits of these contracts we are recruiting to various new roles!

The Role
As we conclude in July 2024 the procurement of £1,7bn 15-year strategic partnerships with a new supply chain we are seeking three Strategic Partnership Managers. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing two strategic partnerships with organisations in a specific geographic region. These partnerships will have a contract value ranging from £20-£35 million per annum. Your role will focus on ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with Anchor's values. You will also play a crucial part in identifying opportunities and managing risks to drive the strategic growth of our partnerships.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing contract management arrangements, adhering to NEC and/or JCT standards, and acting as the responsible Contract Administrator or Service Manager. This role will safeguard the commercial interests, contract management requirements, and contractual obligations of Anchor, particularly concerning repairs, investment, and M&E services across our portfolio of Housing and Care properties.
Accountabilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining a robust reporting infrastructure to effectively manage contract arrangements.
- Building strong, long-term partnerships by leading Core Group meetings and communication channels.
- Identifying potential cost savings within each contract and collaborate with our partners, commercial, and procurement teams to realize these savings.
- Working closely with and support property delivery teams to ensure contract performance requirements are met.
- Managing contract risk and issues logs and opportunity registers.
- Overseeing contract mobilization.
About You:
To be successful in this role we’d like you to have:
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Partnering Contract Management Experience.
- Recent experience in commercial and contract management of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
- Experience in cost-planned investment, compliance services, and/or reactive maintenance work in the social housing sector, based on current market costs.
- Proven experience working within the social housing maintenance and planned investment sector, whether on the contractor side or client side.
- Minimum degree qualification in a building-related discipline or appropriate relevant experience (essential).
- MRICS/MCOIB status (desirable).
