The Role:
As a Care Assistant at Timken Grange, you will be required to provide the best possible care and support (physically and emotionally) to our residents on a daily or nightly basis. Your responsibilities will include personal care, getting ready for the day or night ahead, assisting with set routines and providing an exceptional level of care and support during the day or night.
Being a Care Assistant is a busy role where our resident’s needs will be your top priority. You will be supported by a senior in charge on every shift as well as a very supportive management team. You will ensure all resident activity is recorded effectively (training will be provided) and any concerns are highlighted in a timely manner. You will quickly become part of the care home family and let’s be honest, our team members are what makes our home a great place to live and work!
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for care (first and foremost) and those who are keen to be the best in the sector. You will work as part of a dynamic care team, ensuring the home adheres to the necessary requirements and procedures at all times.
We have part time and full time positions available.
PART TIME - 14.30 - 22.00 - working on a 3 on 3 off rolling rota which equates to 26.25 hours per week.
FULL TIME - 08.00 - 20.00 - working on a 3 on 3 off rolling rota which equeates to 42 hours per week.

Timken Grange Care Home is situated in South Duston, Northampton. The care home offers inclusive permanent and respite care in a safe, secure and welcoming environment. Timken Grange is in the historic village of South Duston, very close to the local village, shops and pubs and many amenities. The home sits proudly on the former site of the British Timken Factory which holds a special place in the heart of many local people living in the area.
