Talent Specialist (Care)

The Role
As a Talent Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies to enhance the skills, performance, and satisfaction of people, across a population of over 4,000. Reporting directly to the Talent & Change Management Manager, this role ideally requires someone with experience in the following areas - learning and development, apprenticeships, talent, and succession planning, along with some project experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and support Apprenticeships within our Care Homes.
- Assist the Talent Team by contributing to projects and initiatives related to performance management, career pathways, competency frameworks, and various other diverse aspects of talent management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
- Measure the impact of training initiatives through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics, adjusting as needed to optimise results.
- Spearhead engagement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Skilled in crafting engaging and on-brand slides.
- Proficient in data comprehension and utilisation with confidence.
- Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement initiatives and measuring their effectiveness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- CIPD Level 5, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
