About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join our award-winning business. The Senior Test Analyst will be fully involved in the test lifecycle, training, and mentoring more junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Review and maintain testing standards and documentation
- Creating Test Estimates, detailed reports about the results of their testing efforts.
- Execute QA testing in line with agreed plan and dates
- Producing the defect reports and tracking of the results
- Preparing and sharing the Test Status report with Test manager & Stakeholders
- Preparing and getting the signoff from the business team by creating the Test signoff reports after the completion of the test execution on each project delivery.
Knowledge and Experience
- Agile Methodologies & IEEE software testing best practices
- Proven experience in establishing Test Strategies
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Tester in an IT environment
- Excellent knowledge of automated testing, tooling, and associated programming language (Java, C Sharp).
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT governance and quality assurance
- Comprehensive understanding of the implementation of testing framework within a dev ops environment.
- Able to clarify, plan and prioritise work to achieve objectives.
- Knowledge of developing tests for functional, non-functional and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing
- Considers risks, the wider impact of decisions, and assessing possible outcomes and likelihood..
- Experience in maintaining, executing, and Sharing results for multiple test suites.
- Work in collaboration with all project team members, including developers, product owners, Dev Ops and Project managers
- Automation expert in Selenium and BDD
- Experience in developing test plans, test approach, test estimates.
- Experience using the Azure Dev Ops
- Awareness of Test Tools in the marketplace.
- Highly attentive to detail.
- Commitment to continually improving processes and methods to deliver quality systems.
- Comfortable with demanding project timescales.
