Job Title: Customer Service Advisor - Responsive Repairs
Department: First Contact Resolution Team – Responsive Repairs
Location: Bradford
Salary: £24,000 per annum, rising to £25,000 after a successful probation
Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, both part time and full time hours available, between Monday - Saturday.
Job Purpose and Context:
As part of a team, you will provide assurance, assistance and practical support to Anchor colleagues and our customers. The role will include regular liaison with contractors, operational colleagues, customers and their relations, and others to provide the highest level of service delivery to all customers. Full and on-going training will be provided.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Making:
- Raising repairs via that have come telephone and email.
- Chasing repairs that have previously been logged and providing updates.
- Invoicing and repairs completion
- Supporting operational colleagues, customer and their families throughout the repairs process.
- Communicate with customers in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner, managing expectations and providing regular updates.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability, enthusiasm and passion to deliver high quality customer service, working professionally and calmly under pressure.
- A "people person", able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communication is key to your success in this role which includes a calm, sympathetic and decisive approach to a wide range of challenging situations.
- Flexible, able to work a variety of shifts, resilient and adaptable to perform and deliver within an ever-changing environment.
- Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office applications and relevant IT systems.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous customer-facing role experience, ideally within housing associations or property management.
- Educated to GSCE level C or above in Maths and English or equivalent
