Job Title: Care Home Manager
Location: The Firs, Felixstowe, Suffolk, IP11 2QF
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
The Role:
We are recruiting for a Registered Care Home Manager to lead The Firs - our 40-bed care home in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Working at 37.5 hours per week with the salary of £48,000 per annum.
What does it mean to be a Registered Care Home Manager?
- Delivery of a service which is economically viable, manages resources effectively to meet customer expectations
- Responsible for the quality of care provided - promoting individualized person centred care, identify and report any risks or poor practice in line with Anchors safeguarding policy
- Lead audit and inspections, conducted by CQC / Local Authorities to ensure excellent outcomes
- Accountable for the success of the home - through effective marketing, community engagement, managing occupancy / recruitment levels and overall customer experience
Who are we looking for?
- Passionate experienced registered CQC manager from a medium care home setting
- A strong understanding of CQC standards and their impact in care management and practice
- An enthusiastic registered manager with a vision to drive the service forward
- Excellent people management skills
- A complete understanding of the needs of older people
