35 hours per week, 9 am - 4 pm
At Ridgemount Banstead Care Home, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and a comfortable living environment for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Assist with laundry services as needed.
- Provide friendly and respectful interaction with residents and their families.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Understanding of Health & safety in the workplace including Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH).

- Ridgemount is located just 2min walking distance from Banstead Town Centre where bus stops are located. Area is nice and quiet. We have on-site parking where staff can park their cars as well
