Surveyor Role - North London and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (including car allowance)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
As a Surveyor at Anchor, you will lead and manage the delivery of property investment, service and inspection, and repairs services for a designated portfolio of properties (approximately 20-40 locations).
You will work closely with housing or care operations teams to ensure timely service delivery, proper maintenance of properties, and achievement of property strategy targets.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with both operational colleagues and residents to ensure homes are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Leading and managing property investment, service, inspection, and repairs services for your portfolio.
- Conducting regular property condition inspections.
- Ensuring repairs and planned works are delivered cost-effectively.
- Assessing properties for future investment and repair planning.
About You
Qualifications and Experience:
- HND / HNC or equivalent in Building or Construction (essential)
- Working towards MRICS or MCIOB status (desirable)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing property activities in housing
- Proven experience in social housing maintenance and planned investment, either contractor or client side
- Ability to interpret operational data for service delivery planning
- Experience in building pathology within a housing environment
