Night position - 40 hours or 20 hours per week available.
9 pm - 7 am.
At Elizabeth Court in Caterham, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Our team is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team and help us continue to deliver high-quality care.
Job Description:
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home. You will lead and support a team of care assistants, ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and mentoring care staff
- Administering medication
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Conducting assessments and reviews of residents' needs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and families
- Managing staff rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Providing hands-on care when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A compassionate and patient approach
