Night position. 8 pm - 8 am.
36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts.
Are you an experienced and compassionate care professional looking to take on a leadership role? Borage House in Ripon is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support in a nurturing and respectful environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the care team to provide exceptional care to our residents.
- Oversee and coordinate daily care activities and ensure the effective implementation of care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and update care plans accordingly.
- Administer medication to residents according to their care plans and ensure accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and care standards.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing any concerns or queries.
- Provide hands-on care and support as needed, setting a positive example for the team.
- Assist in the training and development of care staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior care role, preferably within a nursing home setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and care standards.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in administering medication and managing associated documentation.
