Job Opportunity: Night Care Assistant – Wharfeside, Otley
Hours: 43 hours per week (7:45 PM – 8:00 AM)
Schedule: Alternate weekends and one shift per week from 9:15 PM – 9:30 AM

About Wharfeside, Otley
Wharfeside is a vibrant care home located in the charming market town of Otley, offering 24-hour residential and dementia care. Our dedicated team provides personalized care in a warm and nurturing environment, with a focus on maintaining dignity and promoting independence. We aim to create a positive and engaging atmosphere where residents enjoy a wide range of activities and social events.
About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll bring compassion, energy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing respectful and dignified personal care
- Assisting residents during mealtimes and ensuring comfort during the night
- Offering emotional and practical support while promoting independence
- Engaging residents with conversation and companionship
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
No experience in care? No problem! Anchor is recognized by Skills for Care for providing one of the best learning and development programs in adult social care. We provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel.
