Handyperson

Are you a skilled and dedicated Handyperson looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a difference? Anchor is seeking a Handyperson to join our team at Kingfisher Court Sutton-in-Ashfield, contributing to happy living by maintaining our locations and gardens to a high standard.
About the Role:
As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and gardening tasks to ensure our locations remain safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for our residents. This role requires a proactive individual with strong practical skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
About Kingfisher Court:
Located in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kingfisher Court is a modern, welcoming care home offering luxurious comfort and beautiful landscaped gardens. We provide first-class residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents, ensuring a safe, warm, and friendly environment where everyone feels at home.
Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing personalised support with warmth and respect, promoting independence and well-being. At Kingfisher Court, residents enjoy a vibrant community, high-quality facilities, and enriching experiences in a place they love to call home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and odd jobs within the location.
- Ensure work areas are clean and tidy after completion of tasks.
- Carry out gardening duties (where applicable) to maintain the outdoor spaces to a high standard.
- Follow health and safety procedures and complete required checks.
- Report any hazards to the location manager to maintain a safe environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in gardening, maintenance, or a similar role.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and organise workload effectively.
- A full driving license is required for this role.
