Join Us as a Deputy Manager at Marsh Farm Manor – A Stunning, Luxury Care Home in Royal Wootton Bassett
Marsh Farm Manor, opened in 2023 by Anchor, is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built residential care home offering exceptional care in a beautifully designed environment. With space for up to 66 residents, the home delivers high-quality residential and dementia care in luxurious surroundings, supporting happy living for the years ahead.
We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager and lead our dedicated care team.
About You:
You’re already working as a Deputy or Assistant Manager in a care setting and bring both compassion and professionalism to the role. You understand what it takes to deliver outstanding care in a modern, upscale care home.
You will have:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience supporting and developing staff teams through training and supervision
- A deep understanding of the needs of older people, particularly in a luxury care environment
- Proven ability to meet care quality standards and performance targets
- Experience working in a customer-focused and multi-disciplinary environment
You’ll also bring knowledge of:
- CQC essential standards and how to lead a service that exceeds them
- Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- Health and safety and confidentiality legislation
- Working to a budget and understanding the financial performance of a care home
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this)
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Home Manager in all aspects of care delivery and team leadership
- Help shape a care culture that is person-centred, outcome-focused, and always striving for excellence
- Play a key role in maintaining compliance and delivering an exceptional experience for residents and their families
- Work collaboratively with residents, staff, families, and other professionals
