1 x 22.5 hours per week over 3 days Weds,Thurs & Fri with the opprotunaity to cross train in other role to gain additional bank hours
Reporting into the Estate Services Manager, responsibilities will include:
Accountable for all aspects of delivering an effective maintenance management service meeting the needs and expectations of customers and colleagues.
Work closely with the General Manager to deliver a high standard of service delivery ensuring the building is safe, welcoming and secure for customers, adhering to safety regulations
Implementing preventative maintenance programs ensuring properties are serviced and maintained to appropriate standards and provide quality and value for money in line with Anchor's investment strategy.
Performance management, staff training and development
Managing and controlling expenditure and budgets
Required knowledge & experience:
To hold minimum ONC in Building, Electrical or M&E, with a working knowledge of other disciplines
Knowledge of all legislation applied to building maintenance including Health & Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations, Workplace Regulations, CDM and British and European Standards
Maintenance planning and administration, adhering to safety regulations and assessing risks
Experience of working in a customer focused environment, managing budgets and leading a team
An effective decision maker, good communication skills and able to negotiate and influence others
Diagnosis skills in analysing building / building services defects.
Ability to prioritise tasks and able to demonstrate the capacity to meet deadlines
